A German “Marca Registrada Hohner” accordion or melodeon dating back to the 1920s, but could easily be older. A single row 10 button plus 5 bass button model. This example features an ornate gold stencil on the black patinated wood, orange bellows and a grille painted white. This unit is clean and appears to be quite functional (and LOUD).
The bellows are in fine maintained condition. One side strap is missing, and the thumb strap has had a repair, and would benefit by being replaced. Everything else is in working condition, and it is in good vintage condition commensurate with its age. All flaws seem to be minor and consistent with age.
Measures 11” x 6” x 9 ½” (228 x 152 x 242 mm) when closed.
