ERNEMANN HEAG III FOLDING CAMERA
The Ernemann Heag III is a vintage 9x12cm format folding-bed plate camera manufactured in Dresden, Germany between 1900 and 1906.
It is in remarkably good condition for its age – no signs of rust, or wear to any component. The metalwork is gleaming, very few areas of wear, the bellows are perfect, the lens is pristine, the magnifying viewer gives a good, clear image, this camera has hardly been used. The shutter works fine on all settings, I don’t believe you’ll find a finer example of this model.
Designed primarily as a travel camera, it pairs traditional craftsmanship—such as a wooden bed and leather-covered body—with classic brass fittings, offering a deeply manual, nostalgic large-format photography experience
